As mentioned above, our tour is a private tour and focuses on service quality: our drivers have over 4 years of experience in mountain tours, so we have to pay them a higher salary; New, clean private car; detailed tour program, visiting all famous tourist attractions in each place, and including all accompanying services (boat rides, motorbike taxis…); All included meals always ensure quality; Clean homestay, beautiful view, delicious cooking. Most importantly, our tour program is completely different from all other companies. While they try to cut down on programs and services, combine passengers, change from passenger cars, buses to smaller vehicles, we always ensure that tourists have their own driver and driver from the beginning of the tour to the end of the tour. Tourists will be able to visit all the main tourist attractions and also visit unique new destinations that only we, the pioneers who have pioneered direct surveys of the service, know and build the most reasonable program and price for customers. 4/ What do you need to prepare when traveling to the mountains?
-Clothes: Mountainous terrain will have a colder climate than the plains and midlands, so bringing long clothes is very important because even in summer the evenings are very cold. Please check the weather to prepare appropriate clothing. A small tip is to pack your clothes in sets. For a 3-day trip, you should bring 4-5 sets for the day, 2 sets for sleeping, and 2-3 warm jackets depending on the weather.
-Shoes: Traveling in the mountains you will have to move a lot, so bringing sports shoes is most convenient. You should bring 2 pairs of shoes, a waterproof pair for when it rains and a cool pair for when it’s hot.
-Some other necessary items:
+ Money and identification: You should bring some cash and an ATM card for protection. If you stay at a hotel, remember to prepare your identification documents to check in at the hotel.
+ Phone and camera: 2 indispensable items in every trip. If you don’t have a camera, try to bring a phone with good and beautiful photography functions, and prepare a backup charger if you have one.
+ Snacks: You should bring some snacks along the way
+ Medicine: You should bring a small medical box containing bandages, red medicine, fever medicine, stomach ache medicine…
+ If you go in a group, you should prepare a uniform shirt or hat to take commemorative photos. You can prepare school supplies, books, pens, rulers, warm clothes… for ethnic children as gifts. In addition, you should prepare a few clean plastic bags to store wet clothes/shoes.
5/ Should children in highland areas be given money or candy when traveling?
Usually, tourists bring candy, warm clothes, and sometimes some money for the children they meet on the street. This comes from our hearts. But sometimes unintentionally it causes consequences that we did not foresee. Children will not like to go to school, they will only like to go out on the street to ask for candy and money from tourists. This not only affects the children themselves, but also destroys the inherently clear tourism image of mountainous ethnic groups. Please don’t turn them into beggars.
So if you want to give your children something, it’s best to give them school supplies and books. The best are the books you’ve read. When stopping for a break, you meet the children, discuss with them the content of the book, arouse excitement and remember to tell them to pass it around to read.
6/ Which season is the best to travel to Mu Cang Chai?
* Flooding season
The water season falls from May to June, which is the time when people start the new crop, and the time when summer rains pour water onto terraced fields. At this time, the terraced fields become stunningly beautiful with the scenery of dazzling white rainwater streams, like a giant mirror reflecting the whole sky.
*Mu Cang Chai in August
In August, Mu Cang Chai is green with the color of young rice in its prime. Soft curving blue waves, embracing the mountain, extending from the mountainside, somewhere are glimpses of early-ripening fields, turning apricot yellow, making the picture look peaceful and simple.
* Mu Cang Chai is ripe rice season
Between September and October, Mu Cang Chai is in the ripe rice season. The fields are golden, smooth, glowing with a rich yellow color. When the weather turns to autumn, when the autumn sky is blue, the sun is very clear and the fields are showing off their golden color. In the middle of a sea of golden rice, a few wooden houses loom, creating a wonderful landscape picture.
