What is there to do in Danang?
Danang has many wonderful activities that make it a unique place in Vietnam:
● Beaches: The beautiful beaches of Danang have even been published in Forbes magazine. Only 3km from the city center there is the beach of My Khe. With incredible blue waters and white sandy beaches, this beach is the one that you think of when you dream of a tropical sea.
● Son Tra peninsula: This area of Vietnam is very unique as it has both the sea and natural forests that meet in one area. There are many endangered animals that live in these forests as well as 300-400 primates.
● Non Nuoc Mountains: These mountains are also known as the Marble Mountains. These limestone mountains meet the beach, and hold the stone carving village of Non Nuoc. They produce artifacts here and are well known not only all over Vietnam, but throughout the world.
● Dragon Bridge: This bridge is quite famous and special, as it is the heaviest bridge in Vietnam. There are over 15,000 light bulbs as well which make this a nice thing to do at night. It is called dragon bridge because it sprays water and fire, but the fire is only done on the weekend. Go around 9pm to view the water and fire show.
● Ba Na Hill: This is one famous tourist attraction that is a bit far from the center, but definitely worth the trip. With great weather, you will travel there by a beautiful and long road.
