According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, South Korea is Vietnam’s largest source market for tourists. In February alone, over 468,000 Korean tourists visited Vietnam, demonstrating the enduring appeal of Vietnam as a destination for South Korean tourists.

Conversely, the number of Vietnamese tourists traveling to South Korea has also increased significantly. The Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam reported that in the first 5 months of this year alone, approximately 224,000 Vietnamese tourists visited South Korea, an increase of nearly 11% compared to the same period in 2024.

Korea Travel Festa 2025: A Cultural Bridge

In a move to further solidify tourism ties, the Korea Travel Festa 2025, held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 21 and 22, served as a vibrant experiential platform. This event aimed to deepen the tourism relationship between Vietnam and South Korea by offering a rich display of cultural exchange.
